Funding my wife’s slot machines with roulette
If I said told you “Slot machines are a waste of money” would you be surprised? The odds of winning big on slot machines are astronomical it doesn’t make sense to play them. My wife loves playing slot machines and eventually, and always, runs out of money. That is when I start funding my wife’s slot machines with my roulette.
Slot machines take her money fast
Each time I bet on roulette I’m betting between $10 and $30 which my wife says is more than she does. “I am only betting $1 to $2 at a time” she proudly claims. My answer is that “she presses the button every five seconds which is 12 times a minute and that is $24 per minute.” When you compare the two amounts we can see our gambling habits are very similar.
The difference is my odds are usually about a 70% – 80% chance of doubling my money (I play strategies), whereas she has a 1:10,000 chance of winning $1. How many times in a row do slots lose?
I’ve watched her have 15 or 20 losses in a row before winning $2.50. That many losses on roulette when playing safe bets is almost unheard of.

How I fund her habit with roulette
Every casino trip has been the same. She plays slot machines for the entire day, moving from one to another, while I’m playing roulette. She runs out of money every time and I always give her all my winnings plus what I started with.
Only once in the last 10 years of playing have I lost all my money. Every other trip I’ve at least doubled my money, if not quadrupled or more. If I start the day with $200 I’ll end up with $500 – $1,000 or more and I give it all to her for slot machines.
I must be honest and fair to her
She provides me with my starting balance, in fact if I ever need money she provides it. I don’t work or earn any income at all and rely on her for everything – she’s awesome. I guess you could say;
My wife funds my roulette so I can provide additional funds to fund her slots which she then loses anyway.

Based on the speed at which slot machines take money when compared to roulette, and when we consider the odds of winning on both games, you must agree roulette is a better choice.
Roulette doesn’t have all the bells & whistles of slots and some people just love the lights & action slots provide – with free games and other enticements designed to take your money. Roulette on the other-hand is just a bunch of numbers and nothing more.
