Discovering Roulette
Throughout my life I have not been a gambler. It has taken me 52 years to discover roulette and I’m glad I did.
If I’m being totally honest; I’ve always been anti-gambling and saw it as a waste of money. I still think that about other forms of gambling such as slots, sports, and similar.
My wife loves casinos where she pours buckets of money into her beloved slot machines – the riskiest of all casino games.
Roulette was a favourite for my younger brother and for many years he suggested I try it; I stubbornly declined. His philosophy was “you must bet big to win big” and that seemed to work out pretty well for him over the years – but I could never afford it like he could. In 2016 I finally did try it out of boredom while waiting for my wife to lose all her money.
Without having any clue of how to play I somehow turned $100 into $1,600. That was when roulette truly captured my fascination and interest.
When I first started learning roulette I was overwhelmed by the numerous betting options and betting systems available. I soon realised understanding the basic rules was crucial to developing a successful method for playing & winning.
I have been able to lay the groundwork for future visits to the casino, managing my bankroll, and learning not to make stupid bets.
