Looking for a roulette strategy which provides reasonably consistent, but small payouts? The 24 + 10 Roulette Strategy might be a good starting point for and I’ve used it many times myself. On European Roulette where a single 0 is in play this strategy offers a 92% chance of winning. The odds when playing 00 tables are slightly less but still good.
I refer to the 24 + 10 Strategy as a Hedging System because with some wins you get your original bet back. If the magic numbers come up you get a small profit.
With this strategy you grind away at it while slowly building your bank balance before making larger, more risky bets with higher returns.
How does the 24 + 10 Roulette Strategy work?
You are betting on most numbers, in fact 34 of the possible 37 numbers on the wheel. Two bets are considered hedging bets while 10 of the numbers selected provide a small profit.
Example of the 24 + 10 Roulette Strategy
We are going to be working with all three columns. Choose which two columns are your hedge bets and put $10 on them. If either win you will get $30 back. In the remaining column put 10 x $1 bets on any of the numbers. These are effectively small Straight Up bets returning $36 for a win.
In the above example the hedge bet is $10 on two columns. A win on either of those returns you $30 which is the total bet amount. Your “small profit” bets are the $1 wagers on all but 2 numbers in the remaining column. Should one of these come up you’ll get $36 back.
This system works well if you are patient. I have personally used this many times with reasonable success.
A note of warning
Eventually you will lose and you lose your entire $30 bet. It takes five or six wins to recover from a loss, so always remember that.
How I use the 24 + 10 Strategy to increase bankroll
When visiting the casino I follow the same plan of attack. My budget varies from one visit to another but is usually in the $200 to $1,000.
My advice when using the 24+10 Roulette Strategy is double your bets when you double your bank or have a few wins. If my bank is $100, when I reach $200 I double my bet to $60 in total. Doubling bets increases your profit. When you double your bank again, increase your bets accordingly.
This is a slow strategy but gives excellent coverage and a little confidence if your a roulette beginner. This strategy is sometimes called the 24 + 8 Roulette Strategy, but that is incorrect. With the two Dozens you are covering 24 numbers and there are 10 straight – hence 24/10.
